h1> YIKES…Trump RUNS AWAY from Court Date OUT OF FEAR
On Wednesday, November 12th, 2022, Donald Trump once again showed his true colors when he failed to appear in court for a defamation case brought against him by former model and "The Apprentice" star Summer Zervos. Trump's attorney, Alina Habba, claimed that the former president was "out of the country" and could not attend the hearing. However, this excuse is highly questionable, given that Trump has been actively campaigning for Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections.
Zervos' lawyer, Moira Penza, called Trump's absence "cowardly" and said that it showed his "complete disrespect" for the court. Penza also accused Trump of trying to avoid being cross-examined under oath. Trump has denied all of Zervos' allegations, but his refusal to appear in court suggests that he may be worried about damaging testimony being revealed.
This is not the first time that Trump has sought to avoid legal accountability. In fact, he has a long history of using delay tactics and other legal maneuvers to evade lawsuits. For example, in the ongoing investigation into his role in the January 6th Capitol insurrection, Trump has repeatedly invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
Trump's behavior is a clear sign that he believes himself to be above the law. He has shown no regard for the integrity of the legal system or the rights of those who have accused him of wrongdoing. His refusal to appear in court for the Zervos case is just the latest example of his contempt for the rule of law.
It is important to note that the allegations against Trump have not been proven in court. However, his repeated attempts to avoid legal scrutiny are certainly not a good sign. Trump's actions suggest that he may be afraid of what would happen if he were forced to answer questions under oath.
The American people deserve to know the truth about Trump's alleged misdeeds. His refusal to appear in court is an affront to justice and should be condemned by all who believe in the rule of law.
In the meantime, Zervos is vowing to continue her fight for justice. She has said that she will not be deterred by Trump's attempts to intimidate her.
"I will not give up," Zervos said. "I will continue to fight for my rights and the rights of all women who have been sexually assaulted."
